Create a comprehensive Visitor Center and Museum for visitors that tells the entire story of the Statue while also providing a robust experience for those unable to enter the Statue itself. The “Becoming Liberty” interactive asks visitors, “What does Liberty mean to You?” - framing the question for future conversation.

This museum evolved over a period of 7 years through all of the necessary phases of the public museum process: Fundraising, Concept, NPS reviews, more Fundraising, Final Concept, Production. It is an inspiring and wecloming and informative space open to all visitors from around the world.
